Zinc Supplementation to Correct Growth Retardation
3$/Kg
Problem: Adult livestock/poultry/dairy cows exhibit zinc deficiency symptoms during calving or growth stages (poor coat, skin disease, weakened immunity).
Solution: Supplement the feed with 100–250 mg Zn/kg (depending on the severity of deficiency and formulation), preferably chelated organic zinc or mixed with ZnO to improve
bioavailability.
Results: Improved coat/skin, elevated immune indicators, overall health and improved production performance.
Note: The total zinc content in the formulation should meet the local maximum allowable level to avoid overdose.
